Other University-funded Faculty Seminars and Training Programs
With respect to relevant trainings sponsored by the University in coordination with other government institutions, the following are conducted based on needs assessment and as requested by faculty and staff and thus highly participated:
· Seminar on Preparation of Class Schedule & Faculty Workload was facilitated by Professor Armando M. Carlos who is the Admission Head of Tarlac State University. The seminar was attended by campus registrars and secretaries of Deans on April 23, 2010 (photos below).
· An Orientation on the Policies & Guidelines on the Creation and Upgrading of Positions with DBM Assistant Director Edgardo Macaranas as speaker was organized on May 27, 2010. Dr. de Leon gave the welcome remarks and explained the importance of having an adequate knowledge on the existing DBM policies.

· To upgrade and enrich the basic technical writing skills of the non-teaching personnel, the University Language Center thru its English Enhancement Program (EEP) conducted an In-house Technical Writing Seminar on June 2, 2010. URS Professor Jocelyn Gagalang was invited to serve as the lecturer. The workshop was participated in by all secretaries of Deans, Directors and Unit Heads.
