· In response to the urgent need to address the declining language ability of students, English faculty across the ten campuses were gathered in the Audio-Visual Educational Center in Morong campus on June 03, 2010 to participate in a seminar-workshop in designing Alternative Task & Assessment in the Language Classroom. Prof. April Fernandez of Ateneo Center for English Language Teaching served as the workshop facilitator/lecturer (photos below).
· No less than the University President herself served as facilitator of the annual seminar on the Institutionalization of Completed Staff Work (CSW) as a Standard in the Operation of URS held at Gusaling Sibol on June 3, 2010. New and existing administrative personnel from all the ten campuses who have not attended last year’s seminar were the participants in the workshop.

Kick-off Meeting on Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
The University Human Resource Office organized a Kick-off meeting to finalize the business processes and other HR procurement and maintenance development last May 13, 2010 at URS Morong campus. All campus HR officers were invited in the meeting. Once finalized, Multifold Link which is the winning bidder of the HRIS will start the development of HRIS software and will present the developed system to the key administrative officials and unit heads of the university.
