International Research Presentation
To enhance faculty and staff development, the University of Rizal System sent eight faculty and staff researchers to participate in the ISSAAS International Congress 2009 as presenters of eight technical papers. The congress was held on January 11-15, 2010 at the famous Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden and Resort, Pattaya, Thailand. The one-week scientific conference was hosted by the ISSAAS Thailand Chapter and Kasetsart University. The congress serve as venue where prominent experts, scientists, researchers and distinguished participants from member countries across Southeast Asia shared their knowledge and research findings in addressing the congress theme “Agriculture for better living and a vibrant global economy”. A poster presentation on the University effort to take part in environmental protection through declaration of the forest in URS Tanay campus was one of the accepted research papers in the conference.

66th Research and Development Coordination Council Meeting

Tagalog Agriculture and Resources Research and Development Consortium (STARRDEC) R&D Coordination Council meeting last 21 January 2010 at the University Function Hall.
