2nd Phase of National Biogas Trainers’ Training course
The University in collaboration with DOST Region IV-A, Southern Tagalog Consortium for Industry and Energy Research and Development (STCIERD) and DOST-TAPI conducted the second phase of National Biogas Technology Trainers’ Training course last April 19-23,2010. Phase 2 gave the participants some inputs on lagoon construction operation and maintenance. Biogas system using the biogas protocol and its utilization was lectured by Engr. Fernando Ablaza while Ms. Velma Salazar, Provincial TESDA Director explained the TESDA Accreditation for Biogas Technician. Engr. Romeo M. Cabacang, ITDI DOST explained the environmental technology verification performance evaluation. Director Alexander Madrigal, DOST Region IVA gave the last topic on biogas program development for energy.

CSC Values Orientation
Workshop
The University Human Resource Office conducted another Values Orientation Workshop (VOW) held at the University Function Hall in Morong campus on April 19-21, 2010. Director Lucina Flor Ramos from the Office of Planning and MIS of the CSC Central Office and Senior Personnel Specialist Roland Palumpon of CSC-RO IV served as workshop facilitators. The VOW is a strongly recommended workshop aimed at strengthening the 4Ms or Makabayan, Makatao, Makalikasan at Makabansa values of the non-teaching which staff.
